Welcome to Herculis EBS 2025 – Wanda Diamond League Monaco

The Organizing Committee of the WANDA Diamond League Herculis EBS is delighted to welcome you to the Riviera Marriott Hotel La Porte de Monaco for this year’s edition of the Diamond League.

GENERAL PROGRAM

Wednesday 9th & Thursday 10th July : Arrival of participants, meals following time-table (see below).

The technical meeting will take place on Thursday July 10th at 19h at the Marriott hotel in room Cap Ferrat.

Friday 11th July:19:00 Beginning of the WANDA Diamond HERCULIS EBS meeting
Saturday 12th July: Departure of participants

MEAL TIMETABLE

All meals will be taken in the Marriott Hotel Restaurant, upon exchange of the corresponding ticket handed out upon your arrival. The nominative accreditation will have to be worn at all time within the hotel area.

BIB NUMBERS:

Distribution in hotel lobby FRIDAY 11th 10:00>12:00

Each athlete for field events will be given 2 numbers, one to be worn on the front of the vest, one on the back of the vest.

Runners will be given a first one to be worn on the back, they will be given the one to be worn on the front of the vest when entering the Field of Play with a RTTS (transponder chip) integrated.

TRAINING

Training will be possible at the « Stade Louis II » with the official track:

  • Tuesday July 8th:      07.00 a.m. to 08.00 p.m.
  • Wednesday July 9th: 07.00 a.m. to 08.00 p.m.
  • Thursday July 10th:   07.00 a.m. to 08.00 p.m.

The shot put field will be available for 1 hour on Thursday at 7 p.m.

The nominative accreditation will be needed to access to the stadium at all time.

WARM UP AND ACCESS TO THE CALL ROOM

A warm-up area is at your disposal, on the Stadium of Cap d’Ail, with direct access from the first floor of the Marriott Hotel. Synthetic grass, no spikes allowed.

CALL ROOMS

There will be 2 call-rooms:
1st one at warm-up where all athletes will be gathered to be walked together to the 2nd call-room in the stadium at the entrance of 200m where no accompanying persons will be allowed.

> LONG, TRIPLE JUMP40 min before start
> HIGH JUMP50 min before start
> POLE VAULT1 h 20 before start
Entrance onto the Track 10 minutes later.

ATHLETES STANDS

Athletes, Managers and accredited accompanying people will be able to watch the meet in the athlete stands located above the mixed zone.

Coach seats will be reserved in the front rows facing the field events.

ANTIDOPING

Athletes might be required to do a doping control after their event and will be notify if so. Please have your passport ready or a copy of it if needed.

Athletes needing a doping control in case of a national record or better can present themselves at the Antidoping area and ask for it.

WAVELIGHT TECHNOLOGIES

Wavelight Technologies will be displayed for all mid-distance races, paces to be announced the evening before the meeting.

SHOES REGULATIONS

All athletes are required to compete with shoes approved by World Athletics regulations as per the enclosed document, and on WA website. Failure to do so might result in financial reductions. https://certcheck.worldathletics.org

MEDIA

All athletes are required to exit through the mixed zone. Failure to do so might result in financial reductions.

Photos & videos: No content can be produced by an athlete support accreditation (manager, coach, physio, accompanying person) at the following place: – Stadium track – Warm-up area

Failure to follow the above will result in financial reductions.

Distribution of content: The photos and videos will be available for free access to all the athletes via Socialie.

TV GRAPHICS – ATHLETES PORTRAIT


To highlight athletes during the Final 3 and Head-to-Head segments, the TV production team will create dedicated graphics. To ensure you are shown in your best light on TV, a professional photo studio has been set up inside the stadium to capture high-quality portraits.

The studio, located 50 meters from the track entrance, will be open on Thursday 10 July, from 2:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Please bring your official race kit so your photo includes the correct sponsor elements.

All athletes competing in the Shot Put and Triple Jump events must attend the photo session, in addition to those selected for the Head-to-Head feature by the TV production team. A changing room will be available next to the studio.

EVENT PRESENTATION

The presentation of the 200m and 100m will be done as follows.

For the 200m, after a warm-up on the track with the Starts, the athletes will be brought back to the call room 3 minutes before the start of the race. Music will be played, and at the end of the music, the athletes will all enter the track at the same time, followed by a presentation of the lanes, standing behind their Starts (from lane 8).

The presentation of the women’s 100m will be done in the classic way behind the Starts, but with the stadium without lights for a few seconds, then with the light directed towards the athletes to introduce them. Finally, the stadium will be fully illuminated gradually before the start.

AWARDS CEREMONY

All winners are required to attend the awards ceremonies, which will be guided by the field staff. There will be two ceremonies:

  • 20h50 (Shot Put – 400H W– 400 W – 800 M – 110H M – 1000 W)
  • 21H59 (100H W – 5000 M – 200 M – 3000ST M – 100 W – PV – HJ – Triple).

VERY IMPORTANT: TRANSPORT TO THE AIRPORT ON Saturday 12th July

Please fill in the departure form and hand it back to the transport desk, buses and time tables will be organized according to the number of departures.

BEWARE: YOU WILL HAVE TO LEAVE THE HOTEL 2 HOURS 30 MN BEFORE YOUR FLIGHT.
