Karsten Warholm is back in Monaco

The road to the World Championships in Budapest will pass through Monaco. It could even serve as a general rehearsal for some athletes, with just one month to go before the summer event. This will be the case for Karsten Warholm in the 400m hurdles, who intends to build up his confidence on July 21st in Monaco.

Karsten Warholm is the strong man of the 400m hurdles and his every appearance is closely watched. When he made his comeback in Oslo last Thursday, he clocked an impressive time of 46’52. The last time he took to the track at the Stade Louis II, in 2021, he set a meeting record of 47.08 seconds. It’s enough to imagine another demonstration in Monaco this year, and to lower his own meeting record…

Meeting Record : 47’’08 – Karsten Warholm (NOR) – 09/07/2021
World Lead : 46’’52 – Karsten Warholm (NOR) – 15/06 in Oslo (NOR).
