Jessica Hull returns to Monaco for the 1000 m

Australian Olympic silver medalist Jessica Hull will line up for the 1,000 m at the Herculis EBS Meeting on July 11. Her return is highly anticipated on the track where she set the world record for the 2,000 m last year.

Hull will once again take to the track at Stade Louis II during the Herculis EBS Meeting, a key fixture on the Wanda Diamond League calendar. This year, the middle-distance star will test herself over an even faster distance: the 1 000 m.

Last year, Hull lit up the Louis II Stadium by setting a new world record in the 2,000 m with a time of 5:19.70, eclipsing the previous mark held by Francine Niyonsaba (5:21.56 in 2021). That unforgettable performance makes her return all the more eagerly awaited. Could history repeat itself?
