Highlights from Rabat!

On June 16 was Rabat's IAAF Diamond League Meeting. Let's have a look at some of the best results.

In the men 800m, Nijel AMOS and Emmanuel KORIR were battling for the victory. In the end, AMOS won in 1:45.57, followed by KORIR in 1:45.60. In the 3000m steeplechase, Getnet WALE, still an U20, crossed the finish line in 8:06.01, establishing a new World Lead as well as an Ethiopian Record. Juan Miguel ECHEVARRIA took the long jump win thanks to a 8.34m jump at round five. 
In the women 1500, Genzebe DIBABA ran the world’s fastest time since 2016, setting a new World Lead of 3:55.47 ahead of Sifan HASSAN who improved her Dutch Record from 3:56.05 to 3:55.93. Finally, in pole vault, Sandi MORRIS cleared a Meeting Record of 4.82m.
