Herculis EBS 2018 on the starting line!

Today, the Press Center of the Stade Louis II hosted Herculis EBS 2018’s first press conference, allowing Bernard Fautrier and Jean-Pierre Schoebel, respectively vice-president of the Monegasque Athletics Federation, and meeting director, to present their beloved event.

“Since 1987, the Herculis EBS meeting has worked its way up, step by step, to become one of the most famous international meeting. Last year, the Bolt effect stroke hard, meaning that the tickets were sold-out.

For the 31st edition, the stadium is expected to be full once more.” explains Jean-Pierre Schoebel. “The Meeting passed a milestone. Before, people tend to ask who will be competing before buying their tickets. Now, we get asked if there are still tickets available. When one comes to see the Meeting in Monaco, one always come back.” He adds with a smile.

This year again, the meeting will be amazing. Starting with the shotput event: the strongmen of athletics, together with their female colleagues will kick-off proceedings on Thursday 19thon the Port Hercule. Six events for men (200m, 1500m, 110hurdles, 3000 steeplechase, high jump and triple jumple) and five events for women (100m, 400m, 800m, 3000 steeplechase and pole vault) will be hold on Friday 20th. Herculis EBS is an attractive show, where athletics and sports fans are happy to see the world’s best athletes. To top it all, the famous international DJ, Martin Solveig, will mix for the opening and closing ceremonies.
