The Meeting Herculis EBS has secured its first marquee name for 2026. Global middle-distance icon Faith Kipyegon has confirmed her appearance on Friday, 10 July 2026 at the Stade Louis-II.
Following a standout road debut at the Monaco Run Gramaglia, where she clocked 29:47 in her first-ever 10km – ranking her immediately among the top fifteen fastest women in history on debut – Kipyegon now turns her focus back to the track.
At 32, the reigning world record holder in both the 1500m and the Mile continues to redefine excellence in global athletics. Monaco holds special significance in her career: it was here, in 2023, that she set her Mile world record at the Meeting Herculis EBS.
In 2026, she will line up in the 3000m, a discipline in which she already boasts an impressive 8:07.04, achieved in 2025 at the Silesia Diamond League.
Her participation sends a powerful message about the ambition of the 2026 edition. On 10 July, all eyes will once again turn to Monaco to witness one of the greatest middle-distance runners in history back on the track.
