1000m Herculis

1000m races are organized in opening of the meeting for amateur athletes. Entries are open to all levels, from age 8 upwards.

The first 1000m was organized as a preview to the Herculis meeting on August 2, 1988, with 152 runners. The number of participants has grown to 1232 athletes in 2019.

In 2025, the Herculis 1000m will celebrate its 36th edition on Friday July 11, with around 40 races on the program.
