12 more global stars are heading to Monaco

With just one month to go, the Meeting Herculis EBS has unveiled twelve additional international champions for its 2026 edition. Olympic gold medallists, world champions and rising stars are set to light up Stade Louis-II on 10 July.

The Meeting Herculis EBS continues to build one of the strongest fields in world athletics for its 2026 edition. Following the earlier announcements of Faith Kipyegon in the women’s 3000m, Jimmy Gressier in the men’s 5000m and pole vault world record holder Mondo Duplantis, the latest wave of athlete confirmations further elevates the prestige of the event.

Sprint events are expected to be among the highlights of the evening. Reigning Olympic champion Julien Alfred returns to Monaco for the women’s 200m after enjoying remarkable success at the Meeting Herculis EBS in recent years. In the men’s 100m, reigning world champion Oblique Seville and American sprint sensation Jordan Anthony are set to deliver one of the most exciting races of the season.

The women’s 100m hurdles promises a world-class showdown between Olympic champion Masai Russell and Swiss star Ditaji Kambundji. Both athletes have established themselves among the elite of global hurdling and their clash is expected to be one of the standout moments of the meeting.

In the field events, the women’s pole vault will feature a highly anticipated duel between World Champion Katie Moon and Olympic Champion Nina Kennedy. With both athletes regularly clearing heights above 4.80m, the competition has all the ingredients for a memorable contest.

The exceptional line-up is further strengthened by the presence of Emmanuel Wanyonyi, Collen Kebinatshipi, Simon Ehammer, Nadia Battocletti and Geordie Beamish, reinforcing the Meeting Herculis EBS’s reputation as one of the premier events on the global athletics calendar.

With four weeks remaining until competition day, anticipation continues to build for what promises to be another unforgettable night of world-class athletics in Monaco.
