Highlights from Oslo!

Yesterday was Oslo’s IAAF Diamond League Meeting. For this edition of the Bislett Games, the historical stadium was sold out, six World leads, a Meet record and a European record were set.

With 9.85, Christian COLEMAN took the 100m dash victory and established a new World Lead. In the triple jump, Caterine IBARGUEN jump a new World Lead of 14.79m in the fifth round and won her 36th Diamond League Meeting.

In Pole Vault, Sam KENDRICKS cleared 5.91m at the third attempt and secured a win. In the 200m, Dafne SCHIPPERS ran her season best, with a time of 22.56. In the high jump, Mariya LASITSKENE was the only one the jump over the 2m barrier, clearing 2.01.

The 400m hurdles specialist, Karsten WARHOLM, broke a 24-year-old European record with 47.33. It was also 0.31 off his Norwegian record as well as a meet record. In the same event, Sydney McLaughlin, who hit the first hurdle badly, made a stunning finish, finishing first in 54.16.
