7 Olympic champions already confirmed

Seven Olympic champions, including Duplantis, Kerr, and Alfred, will light up the track at the Herculis EBS Meeting 2025 on July 11th at the Louis-II Stadium.

The Herculis EBS Meeting is once again getting ready to welcome the world’s best athletes. Less than a year after the Paris Olympic Games, seven Olympic champions are confirmed to compete on the legendary track of Monaco’s Louis-II Stadium on Friday, July 11, 2025. A must-attend event for athletics fans, with world-class performances on the horizon.

Duplantis and Kerr headline the field

Leading the charge are two Olympic gold medalists who need no introduction. Armand Duplantis, a regular at Herculis EBS, recently broke his own pole vault world record for the 12th time with a 6.28m clearance. He returns to Monaco aiming for another memorable night. He’ll be joined by New Zealand’s Hamish Kerr, Olympic champion in the high jump, ready to deliver another top-class performance in Monaco after his win last year.

Julien Alfred returns with record in sight

100m Olympic champion Julien Alfred is back on the track where she triumphed last year. The Saint Lucian sprinter is in top form this season, clocking 10.75 (+0.9 m/s) in Stockholm, just three hundredths shy of her national record. The Herculis meeting record (10.72 by Marion Jones in 1998) could well be under threat.

Paulino aims for another 400m masterpiece

Dominican star Marileidy Paulino, reigning Olympic and World champion over 400m, will also take to the track. She currently holds the second-fastest time in the world this season (49.12), and recently broke her national record in the 200m with a 22.30 effort, a performance that suggests something special could be in store for Monaco…

Ogunleye back in the circle

In the women’s shot put, Germany’s Yemisi Ogunleye will be back in action. The Olympic champion has returned to competition this summer following her silver medal at the European Indoor Championships. Just two months out from the World Championships, there is not doubt she’ll be looking to make a statement.

Holloway and Wanyonyi chasing peak form

Two more Olympic stars will light up the men’s side of the competition. Over 110m hurdles, Grant Holloway is aiming for another victory on a track he knows well, having already won twice in Monaco. After a challenging start to the season, the American will be eager to reassert his global dominance.

In the 800m, Emmanuel Wanyonyi comes in as the favorite. The Kenyan recently clocked 1:41.95 in Stockholm and could take aim at the meeting record of 1:41.46, set just last year.

Save the date: July 11

With such a stellar lineup, Herculis EBS 2025 promises to be one of the highlights of the summer athletics calendar. All eyes on the Louis-II Stadium for what’s shaping up to be an unforgettable night on Friday, July 11.
