In exactly one month, the world of Athletics will come back to Louis II Stadium in Monaco for the meeting HERCULIS, part of the IAAF DIAMOND LEAGUE circuit.
After announcing Renaud LAVILLENIE’s return to Monaco, organisers are pleased to confirm you the presence of some of the biggest French stars:
Pierre-Ambroise BOSSE, after a thundering start of the season, is returning where he established a new French Record in 1:42.53, impressing the spectators who were in the stadium that night. After his 3rd place during the IAAF Diamond League Meeting of New-York this weekend, where he realised the 3rd best time of his career (the first two were set in…Monaco !) the 800m race of Monaco will offer him once again the best conditions for another top performance.
Jimmy VICAUT is in the same situation, after taking the 3rd place of the 100m race of HERCULIS Meeting 2 years ago in 9.99. He is coming back this year with even stronger arguments on his side, thanks to his 2nd place of IAAF Diamond League meeting of Rome in 9.98 on June 4th. Will his personal best of 9.95 and the French Record of 9.92 still be accurate on the next day of the meeting?
And before the European Team Championships this weekend, organisers are proud to announce that the heroes from Zurich 2014 will be at Herculis 2015! Thus, European Triple Jump Champion Benjamin COMPAORE will be here, as well as medallists Cindy BILLAUD for the 100m Hurdles, Melina ROBERT-MICHON for the Discus Throw, Kevin MENALDO for the Pole Vault and Floria GUEI, heroine of the golden 4x400m relay thanks to her devastating finish.
A few days after the French National Day, these champions will be joining you at Louis II Stadium on July 17th 2015 for what should be another amazing night of athletics.
