The Herculis EBS 2023 Meeting will take over the track of the Louis II Stadium on Friday 21st July. Athletes recognise this international meeting as the ideal place to achieve great performances, as shown by the 7 world records broken in Monaco. Pole vaulter Mondo Duplantis, world record holder in pole vaulting, is the first to confirm his presence.
As the Herculis EBS meeting has been elected best meeting in the world 7 times in its history, the organisers will ensure that this 2023 edition continues the tradition. They will be able to count on Mondo Duplantis to keep the momentum going.
“I'm looking forward to coming back to the Herculis meeting in Monaco on 21 July”, explains Mondo Duplantis. “I know that the meeting record is 6m02 (Piotr Lisek, 2019, editor's note) We will see if I can do better. Monaco is an ideal place to jump high, especially thanks to the Mediterranean weather, which puts us in the best possible position.”
The world record holder has already come twice to the Herculis EBS meeting. The first time was in 2019, when he achieved 5m92 and in 2020 when he set the best world performance of the year with 6m00. There is no doubt that the meeting record could be broken!
See you on 21 July 2023.
