The 100m hurdles race was a dual between the World Record Holder and actual World Leader, Kendra HARRISON on the one hand and the Winner in Lausanne's Meeting, Sharika NELVIS on the other hand. After a neck and neck race, HARRISON took the win with 12'51, only a hundredth of a second before NELVIS. Finishing third was the Jamaican athlete and World Champion, Danielle WILLIAMS (12''58).
