Edward Alonso came in first on the 200m race with a time of 20.10, "Alonso is an athlete of Olympic finalist potential" affirmed Lemaitre who followed him with his new season's best of 20.24. Behind Lemaitre were Martina Churandy (20.29) and Brenes Nery who set Costa Rica's new National Record (20.33)!
It was a great pleasure for the French audience to cheer for Lemaitre who made a powerful comeback after an injury which prevented him from taking part in the European Championships in Amsterdam.
