On February 4, 2018 was held the 3rd edition of Nice Mont Boron Trail, organized by the students of IAE Nice with the support of the association Sport'IAE. This 10km (+300m) allows to discover in another way this famous place of the city of Nice and its atypical landscapes. This event, which links sports and heritage, was a great success as the students broke their participation record with 215 runners in the 2 events (5km and 10km).
A few days before, the French Futsal Adapted Championship was organized by the Departmental Committee of Adapted Sport. 16 teams from all over France participated in the competition : more than 150 athletes. Herculis EBS decided to support this project which aims to develop the image of adapted sport and promote the values of a sport for all and accessible.
This year, the Herculis EBS meeting has also decided to support two projects of the student association STAPS Nice Initiative. The first was a 4-day fundraising event for the AFM Telethon. In total, it is more than 700 € that have been collected by the association through their various activities put in place.
This same student association organized for the 6th year in a row the National Day of Sport and Disability. This national project, organized in 20 cities in France, brought together more than 450 valid and invalid persons in Nice on the campus of the Faculty of Sports Sciences. The Herculis EBS Meeting has been supporting this initiative for several years for its values and objectives: to integrate people with disabilities through sport but also to break social barriers and fight against isolation by allowing them to share a moment of conviviality.
It is always with pleasure that Herculis EBS accompanies these inclusive and supportive projects by providing gifts, through invitations to the International Meeting of July 20, but also to the 1000m Herculis.
