Second and third were Yulimar Rojas (VEN) and Patricia Mamona (POR). The Portugese athlete set new national record of 14.66 on her fifth attempt.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p> Women\u2019s pole vault:&nbsp;<br \/> With a 4.90m jump, Katie Nageotte (USA) secured the win in front of Anzhelika Sidorova who jumped 4.80m. Third was Katerina Stefanidi (GRE), who also jumped 4m80, her best performance this year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p> Women\u2019s javelin:<br \/> With a throw of 63.08 m in the final 3, Barbora Spot\u00e1kov\u00e1 (CZE) won the javelin throw contest! Second and third were Maria Andrejczyk (POL) and Christin Husson (GER) who respectively threw their javelin at 58.01m and 57.73m in their last attempt.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Men\u2019s high jump:<br \/> Mikhail Akimenko jumped the highest tonight and cleared 2.32m. Three centimeters below was Django Lovett (CAN). Third was Maksim Nedasekau (BLR) with a jump of 2.25m. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p> Men\u2019s 400m H:<br \/> For his second consecutive Diamond League in Monaco, the World record holder, and two times World champion in the 400m Hurdles, Karsten Warholm (NOR) took the win and improved the MR he set last year with a performance of 47.08. Behind him were Alison Dos Santos (BRA) and Rasmus M\u00c4GI (EST) who finished their races in 47.51 and 48.83.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p> Women\u2019s 800m:<br \/> Five PBs were set in the women\u2019s 800m! Starting with Laura Muir (GBR) who clocked 1:56.73, Jemma Reekie (GBR) with 1:56.96 and Kate Grace (USA) with 1:57.20. In the sixth and seventh positions Renelle Lamote (FRA) and Halimah Nakaayi (UGA) who respectively ran in 1:57.98 and 1:58.03. With her performance, Nakaayi set a new national record. &nbsp;<br \/> &nbsp;<br \/> Men\u2019s 1500m:<br \/> The Men\u2019s 1500m never disappoints in Monaco. Tonight, a WL, an AR, and two national records were set along with a lot of PBs! Timothy Cheruiyot (KEN) ran his way to victory, finishing in first place with a WL and a new PB of 3:28.28. In second place was Mohamed Katir (ESP) who established a new national record of 3:28.76. Third was Jakob Ingebrigtsen in 3:29.25. Stewart McSweyn (AUS) ran an AR of 3:29.51 and Marcin Lewandowski (POL) set a new national record of 3:30.42.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p> Women\u2019s 200m:<br \/> Shaunae Miller-Uibo (BAH) took the 200m win in 22.23 ahead of Marie-Jos\u00e9e Ta Lou (CIV) and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce (JAM) who respectively clocked 22.25 and 22.48.<\/p>\n<p> Men\u2019s 3000m SC:<br \/> Lamecha Girma picked a up a victory in the 3000m SC men. The Ethopian athlete ran a new WL of 8:07.75. Second and third were Abraham Kibiwot (KEN) and Djilali BEDRANI (FRA) who finished in 8:07.81 and 8:11.17, their best performances this year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p> Men\u2019s long jump:<br \/> With a jump of 8.24m in the final 3, Miltiadis Tentoglou (GRE) won the long jump contest. Second and third were Tayjay Gayle (JAM) and Thobias Montler (SWE).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p> Men\u2019s 800m:<br \/> Nijel Amos (BOT) was all smiles after his new WL of 1:42.91 and his first race this season. Behind him were Emmanuel Kipkurui Korir (KEN) and Marco Arop (CAN) who finished in 1:43.04 and 1:43.26.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Women\u2019s 1500m:<br \/> With a time of 3:51.07, Faith Kipyegon (KEN) set a new WL, a NR and ran the fourth fastest 1500m in history! Sifan Hassan (NED) was second in 3:53.60 and Freweyni Haily was third in 3:56.28.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p> Men\u2019s 100m:<br \/> Ronnie Baker (USA) clocked a dashing 9.91 to take the win! He was followed by Akani Simbine (RSA) who crossed the finish line in 9.98 and Lamont Marcell Jacobs (ITA) who finished in 9.99. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p> Women\u2019s 3000m SC:<br \/> To finish the night, Hyvin Kiyeng (KEN) set a new SB of 9:03.82. Second and third were Beatrice Chepkoech (KEN) and Winfred Mutile YAVI (BRN) who finished in 9:04.94 and 9:05.45.
