Men\u2019s 100m:<\/span><\/b> Justin GATLIN, winner of the 2014 IAAF Diamond League and world leader thanks to his personal best established in Doha, will face the new European record holder Jimmy VICAUT, who came second in 9.86 in Paris.<\/span>This week\u2019s big surprise is also the confirmation of Tyson GAY\u2019s participation as well as Trayvon BROMELL\u2019s, who has a personal best of 9.84 realized in 2015, making him one of the 10 fastest man in the world. 5 men in this race have a personal best of 9.8 or even better; it will surely be fast. <\/span>Will the meeting record of 9.82 be broken on the 17<\/span>th<\/sup> \u2026?<\/span><\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 800:<\/span><\/b> World champion Mohammad AMAN, best performer this year on this event with a time of 1:43.56 will confront last year\u2019s Diamond League leader and winner in Monaco, Nijel AMOS. But let us not forget the Frenchman Pierre-Ambroise BOSSE, who may establish a new French record after the one he performed last year in Monaco.<\/span><\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 1500:<\/span><\/b> even though this event does not count for the Diamond League in Monaco, it will be the most exciting of the meeting. Indeed going sub 3:30 during this event would propel any athlete as best performer of the year. World champion Asbel KIPROP, the 2012 Olympic champion Taoufik MAKHLOUFI and the double Olympic champion on the 5000m and 10000m as well as European record holder Mo FARAH will confront each other.<\/span><\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 3000m:<\/span><\/b> Caleb NDIKU, winner of the 2014 IAAF Diamond League will come to defend his title as he will face World and Olympic champions such as Isaiah KOECH and Thomas LONGOSIWA. Is the 7:38.08 best performance of the year threatened?<\/span><\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 400m hurdles:<\/span><\/b> Bershawn JACKSON, world leader with a time of 48.09 and winner of the US championships last weekend will face Johnny DUTCH and the winner of the 2014 Diamond League that is Michael TINSLEY.<\/span><\/p>\n

Men\u2019s pole vault:<\/span><\/b> Renaud LAVILLENIE, today\u2019s actual world record holder and Olympic champion comes back to Monaco where he has had three victories. He will confront World champion Rafael HOLZDEPPE, who has realized 5.92m this year, and Kevin MENALDO who came third during the 2014 European championships.<\/span><\/p>\n

Men\u2019s triple jump<\/span><\/b>: the two men who jumped over 18m, Christian TAYLOR and Pedro PICHARDO will meet at the Stade Louis II. European champion Benjamin COMPAORE will attend as well the competition. Will those men break the 8.29 world record?<\/span><\/p>\n

Men\u2019s shot put:<\/span><\/b> Tomasz MAJEWSKI and the American champion Joe KOVACS all have in mind Reese HOFFA\u2019s meeting record of 21.25m.<\/span><\/p>\n

Men\u2019s javelin:<\/span><\/b> Olympic champion Keshorn WALCOTT will confront world medallist Tero PITKAMAKI, world champion Viteslay VESELY and especially African champion Julius YEGO, who has thrown 91.09m during the IAAF Diamond League meeting of Birmingham.<\/span><\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 200m:<\/span><\/b> double European champion Dafne SCHIPPERS, the Bahamian Shaunae MILLER and the Jamaican Christine DAY will all be coming in order to dampen spirits right before the World championships.<\/span><\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 400m:<\/span><\/b> the crowd\u2019s favourite athlete Floria GUEI will face European champion Libania GRENOT and the Jamaican Christine DAY to run one lap, with the clear ambition to assess their statuses. <\/span>The 2008 Olympic champion and double World champion Christine OHURUOGU will also be participating to this race!<\/span><\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 1500m:<\/span><\/b> like the men\u2019s race, this event reunites the best world athletes, with for instance World champion Abeba AREGAWI, European champion Sifan HASSAN and the American champion Jenny SIMPSON. <\/span>Somehow the guest star of this 1500m is Genzebe DIBABA, the world record holder of this event indoor who has run in 3:55.17s. <\/span>This race will surely go sub 4:00.<\/span><\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 100m hurdles:<\/span><\/b> World champion Brianna ROLLINS and winner of the IAAF Diamond League HARPER-NELSON will lead a race that displaying this year\u2019s 5 best performers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 3000m SC:<\/span><\/b> vice Olympic champion Habiba GHRIBI will meet the American champion Emma COBURN as well as the winner of the IAAF Diamond League Hiwot AYALEW.<\/span><\/p>\n

Women\u2019s high jump:<\/span><\/b> the Russian trio starring CHICHEROVA, SHKOLINA and KUCHINA will face BEITA and VLASIC for a thrilling competition.<\/span><\/p>\n

Women\u2019s long jump:<\/span><\/b> World champion Brittney REESE, American champion Tianna BARTOLETTA, Russian champion Darya KLISHINA and Nigerian OKAGBARE will all come to Monaco in order to go beyond 7m.<\/span><\/p>\n

Women\u2019s discus:<\/span><\/b> Olympic, World and European champion Sandra PERKOVIC her runner up of the two last championships, the French Melina ROBERT-MICHON. <\/span><\/p>\n
