He will be running along with Aries Merritt in Monaco&nbsp;! Aries<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">&nbsp; <\/span>Merritt <\/span><span style=\"mso-bidi-font-family: Helvetica; mso-ansi-language: FR;\" lang=\"FR\">became world champion on the 60 meters hurdles in Istanbul. He secured his spot in the Olympic Team by winning at the US Olympic Trials. Merritt posted the best time in the world at the trials this year with 12.93 seconds&nbsp;!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>200m Men:<\/strong> Churandy Martina's personal best time over 100m is 9.93&nbsp;seconds, a national record, achieved in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games final. In addition to this he holds the 200m national record with a time of 19.94, achieved at the New York adidas Grand Prix 2012. He is the first European sprinter this year to go under 20seconds. Churandy Martina wins the men's 200m final of the European championships in Helsinki and won his second gold of the European championships in the men's 4x100m relay.
