European Indoor Championships in Glasgow

The 35th edition of the European Indoor Championships took place in Glasgow in early March, and all the great athletes who already competed in Monaco were there.

Jakob Ingebrigsten, gold and silver medalist (3000m and 1500m), had set the U20 European record in 2018 (1500m); and Pascal Martino Lagarde, bronze medalist, had established a French record in 2014 (110m hurdles). 

Also present, Laura Muir (3000m), who had set a new personal best in 2017; Marcin Lewandowski (1500m), who had established a new Polish record; and Mariya Lasitskene (High Jump), who was the winner in Monaco in 2017. These three athletes were crowned European Champions. 

Gianmarco Tamberi (High Jump), who had set the Italian record in 2016, equaled his best European performance of 2m32. Finally, in pole vault, Anzhelica Sidorova, European champion, and et Piotr Lisek, silver medalist, were respectively winners in Monaco in 2018 and 2017.
